¡VANGUARD Y MEGATON REGRESAN EN BIG BANG ADVENTURES # 5!

Como ya os comentamos, antes de Big Bang Comics (la serie de homenajes retro publicada primero en Caliber y luego en Image), Gary Carlson fundó en 1981 su propia editorial independiente: MEGATON COMICS.

Aunque sus cómics no llegaron al mercado español, si que lo hicieron sus personajes, integrados en el UNIVERSO IMAGE junto a personajes que se habían presentado y autores originalmente en MEGATON, como el SAVAGE DRAGON de Erik Larsen.

Así pasó con Vanguard, el simpático alienígena que contó con su propia miniserie Image. 

Ahora vuelve sus aventuras en Big Bang Adventures, junto a las de Megaton, el personaje que dio nombre a la editorial.

As Matt (Megaton) Scott prepares to undergo the treatment that will either save his life by stabilizing his two hearts or end it, he reflects back to a time when he was a young entitled TV star and he and his mother were kidnapped for ransom in “The Megaton Kid”. 

 Also, a look back at Vanguard’s first date with Roxanne Wells in “The Morning After”. Plus, a Vanguard pin-up by Erik Larsen and Al Gordon featuring the original cover to the unpublished Vanguard #1 from 1987.
