Finch ha tenido varios problemas trabajando con los guionistas que le ayudaban. A ver si ahora con su mujer trabaja más fluido...

LA WONDER WOMAN DE FINCH A COLOR

A la vista de estas páginas, creo que Finch encajaría mejor como dibujante de Swamp Thing... Le sale realmente lograda.

You know, I really like the design! I think it'll look great.

I think what works on-screen and what works on the page can be a little different, sometimes. Like with Superman's costume, you'll notice the red is a little more muted in the movies. I think Wonder Woman's costume will look beautiful on the screen.

Sobre la versión New 52 que anda dibujando, ha dicho:

I feel like the design for the New 52 that she has right now is a bit of a compromise between the classic look. The shorts are a little more substantial, which I think looks nice. I like the look of the two stars versus all the little stars, which looks a little cleaner. I love the new outfit, and the one she has now is the one I'm drawing.

In Issue #2, she is wearing armor, and it's a really classic look for her. She's fighting the Amazons on Themyscira. It's not really a superhero-type scenario, so I wanted an outfit that would reflect that.

LA NUEVA WONDER WOMAN VS. SWAMP THING: HACIENDO COMICS CON "COPY-PASTE"

Esto de enfrentar superhéroes con superhéroes hace unos años que viene aburriendo...

Parece que DC sigue sin tener ninguna prisa en presentar a los personajes REALES de la franquicia de la Amazona, por si luego hacen la peli y hay que cambiarlo todo.

Así que una LUCHA EN EL BARRO (¡MUDFIGHT!) siempre viene bien para llenar páginas mientras (ya la hicieron con Clayface...).

Y digo yo que si, que debe existir alguna GRAN HISTORIA que une a Swamp Thing y Diana en una sola historia. Pero...-¡GREAT GAEA!- me parece que no va a ser esta...

Aquí os dejo con este bonito pasatiempo para que encontréis las CERO diferencias entre estas viñetas y la splash de Finch: "Boldy going where Jim Lee has gone before...".

Por cierto que, solo para joder a Didio, la escena de la Liga y la intervención posterior está tooooodo copiado al milímetro del número del Hombre Florónico de ALAN MOORE.

¡Tú también puedes hacer cómics DC! Solo corta la viñeta y REPÍTELA HASTA EL INFINITO.

DAVID FINCH Y SU ESPOSA MEREDITH SE HACEN CARGO DE WONDER WOMAN

La dirección de la serie anuncian que tratará de cómo Wonder Woman combina sus responsabilidades hacia los miembros de la JLA y hacia las Amazonas con sus relaciones personales.

Tengo mucha curiosidad por ver si autores y editores se atreven a sacar en esta etapa a algún VILLANO/A de la serie, aparte de los dioses versionados por Azzarello.

Aquí tenéis la preview de este último número y AQUÍ un interesante artículo sobre como de sosas y redundante han resultado las líneas argumentales y las diferentes series de este cross-over.

DAVE FINCH SE HARÁ CARGO DE LA SERIE DE WONDER WOMAN

Yo dije alguien como Tony Daniel, no he andado muy lejos...

Eso reporta Bleeding Cool, no sabemos si solo como dibujante o como autor completo (aunque al final siempre le meten un guionista).

Se pretende cambiar de dirección la serie y aproximar a Wonder Woman a lo que se ve de ella en Justice League y el resto del Universo, ya que obviamente, Azzarello iba por libre y no ha relacionado EN ABSOLUTO lo que allí se contaba con nada.

Para ir haciéndonos a la idea de que clase de fémina retratará Finch, recordemos que esta es su versión de Wonder Woman....

...que dio lugar a esto...

...O incluso a ESTO.

No se esperen ustedes a Hesiodo, ni a Eurípides, ni a Esquilo, vaya.
