El escritor revela que Len Wein le ofreció el puesto de guionista ANTES que a Moore, y al declinarlo, le cedió el puesto.

The first opportunity was when Marty Pasko was leaving the series and Len Wein asked me to take over; but I decided to stay at Marvel, where I was under contract at the time — thus paving the way for Alan Moore’s groundbreaking run."
