THE PHANTOM: HERMES PRESS REEDITA LAS NOVELAS DE AVON

Los fans de El Fantasma Que Camina están de suerte, la editorial americana está reimprimiendo las novelas publicadas por la editorial Avon en los años 70, comenzando por la de su origen.

For the first time ever, the Avon edition of The Phantom is back in print! Hermes Press is proud to announce that they will be publishing all fifteen pocket Avon books, starting in August 2016, every other month!

Book one starts off with Lee Falk explaining, via the twentieth Phantom, the histories of the Phantoms that came before the current Ghost Who Walks.

Famed artist George Wilson (Dr. Solar, Magnus Robot Fighter, The Phantom) painted all of the covers used for the Avon series, and they are reproduced beautifully to keep all of the details from the original books intact for a new generation of Phans to enjoy!

The first exciting book in the series, titled “The Story of The Phantom: The Ghost Who Walks,” tells the story of the childhood and adolescence of the twenty-first Phantom.

ALMAS DE BUTACA: HABLANDO DE CINE, CULTURA Y CRÍTICA, ENTREVISTA A PEDRO ANGOSTO

Al amigo Julio Ángel Olivares lo hemos conocido en el Congreso de Literatura y Cultura Gótica haciendo siempre grandes análisis de películas, buscando más allá de la superficie al mensaje que los creadores han encerrado en ellas.

Profesor en la Universidad de Jaén y locutor en Uniradio, ha tenido la deferencia de entrevistarme en su programa de cine ALMAS DE BUTACA de la pasada semana.

Hablamos de Cultura, su difusión y crítica, cine y cómics y, en fin, las labores que me ocupan ahora.

BLACK WIDOW Y ETERNALS RUMOREADOS COMO ESTRENOS DE MARVEL STUDIOS EN 2020

Mayo y Septiembre serían las fechas de estos estrenos que inaugurarían las siguiente Fase de Marvel, sobre la que la productora guarda un silencio prudencial.

Sobre la peli de los Eternos parece que se basará en el material original de Kirby, no la versión de Gaiman, y que presentará a los Deviants, además de establecer relaciones con otros personajes del MCU, algo ausente en los cómics.

Quizás jueguen con los Kree, tal y como se hizo con posterioridad, relacionando los experimentos genéticos de ambos con la raza humana.

Black Widow ya tiene directora femenina, será Cate Shortland.

Se habla también de que Marvel buscan incorporar más féminas tras las cámaras.

WONDER WOMAN 84: CONTINÚA EL RODAJE EN LONDRES

Es bastante irónico que sea el éxito de Gal Gadot como Diana -hay que reconocer que está radiante- el que alarga artificialmente la vida del presente DCU...

¿Sobrevivirá la actriz al re-casting del resto de los personajes...?

LES MISERABLES: NUEVA VERSIÓN EN LA BBC

No creo que me guste más que el Musical, pero habrá que verla.

AQUAMAN: LA RECAUDACIÓN DE SU ESTRENO EN U.S.A. NO PASARÁ DE 60 MILLONES

Yo diría que esos son cálculos bastante optimistas, teniendo en cuenta la gran competencia de ese fin de semana, y el resto de factores que concurren en la película (trayectoria de DC Films, fin de la etapa Snyder de actores, bajo o nulo perfil del personaje, pelicula ya espoileada por la productora, escenas copiadas a Marvel, etc, etc, etc...).

De hecho la estimación completa ronda en una horquilla de 40-60 millones.

Para quienes deseamos un reboot completo de todo este embrollo, ayudará el que esta acabe siendo lo más baja posible.

SUB-MARINER: KEVIN FEIGE ABIERTO A SU APARICIÓN EN EL MCU

Nada inmediato, pero lógicamente, Fiege sigue trabajando para posibilitar el eventual uso de todos sus grandes personajes.

Obviamente, el lugar lógico es donde se produjo su reintroducción histórica: dentro de las aventuras de los ahora retornados Fantastic Four.

Curiosamente, el personaje acaba de ser reintroducido dentro de los cómics de Avengers, aunque de una manera de nuevo villanesca y despiadada, llevándose por delante la vida de un compañero vengador.

Podemos estar seguros que, tras el éxito tomando prestado a Spider-Man de Sony, no va a haber productora que se resistas a llevarse el mismo pellizco por permitir que Marvel maneje al personaje del que mantienen parte de los derechos.
