KNIGHTS OF JUSTICE: ¡MAGNÍFICAS RESEÑAS Y REACCIONES A NUESTRO CÓMIC!

Para ser un cómic cuyo mayor propósito era mantenerme entretenido y homenajear de paso a mi querida JSA, sin olvidar conseguir que Pablo Alcalde se luciese y publicase su primer cómic, ahora a todo eso hay que añadir un EXITAZO en cuanto a las críticas. 

Prácticamente, todo el que lo ha leído, le ha encantado, y eso no puede hacernos sentir más satisfechos.

MAX READS COMICS: "The issue is just a treat to read, too: the art is fantastic, and the writing is crisp, well paced, and peppered with likable characterizations all around! This is good comics, folks!"

FIRST COMICS NEWS: "Writer Pedro Angosto gives us so many pages of fun featuring Blitz, The Beacon, U.S.Angel, Venus, The Badge, Dr. Stellar, Vita-Man, Thunder Girl and Dr. Weird as members of the Knights of Justice. Pure nostalgic fun. I’m overusing those words again but that is exactly what this book is about. Art by Pablo Alcalde is great and matching the period of comic books. Bright, with an ever so slight Archie comics house style pinch of flavour to remove any “grim and gritty” flare. Colours by Simon Loko are equally as perfectly applied to the art and Adam Pruett’s lettering is clean and clear. All of it just gels together to plaster a silly grin all over my face. This 52-page comic is full of pin-ups, double-page splashes and text pieces offering plenty of comic reading enjoyment for the money."

MODERN-RETRO COMICS REVIEW: "In BIG BANG ADVENTURES #8, writer Pedro Angosto and artist Pablo Alcalde do an amazing job capturing the feel of the 70s era of the Silver Age telling a story of Earth B's KNIGHTS OF JUSTICE, the team of heroes formed in the Golden Age of the 1940s."

DOC SCHAEFER: "And finally, big old giant issue #8! I'm not sure where to even begin on this one. Pedro Angosto's story, Pablo Alcalde's artwork, Simon Loko's colors. All are spot on and proves that these folks know there comic history and love it as much as I do. 

Secondary and tertiary characters (my favorite!) get their time in the spotlight. Sure, Ultiman and Knight Watchman are here but so is Dr. Stellar, Vita Man, U.S. Angel! 

And then give us the double page cameo ladden finally with Speed Queen, Blue Blaze, Trooper and Bobby, Protoplasman, Hummingbird, Zhantika, and Presto the Magician! 

I can hardly believe it! These issues are pure genius and should be checked out by any fan of comics."

As I’m only a recent reader if Big Bang’s stuff, there’s still a lot I’m discovering but this issue definitely left me wanting more from the creative team of Pedro Angosto, Pablo Alcalde, and Simon Loko. I really want to congratulate writer Pedro Angosto; a lot of writers turn to mythology for story ideas, but not many get that mythology as right as Angosto does here. He makes excellent use of some truly obscure bits, and it makes for a fantastic story from start to finish.And the Pablo Alcalde art is pretty nifty, too!" 

 C. BOATNER: "Good stuff! I got a Silver Age rush from the splash pages of the heroes assembled. The Alliance of Evil is a good bad gang, created fresh for this story. Also, some clever and intelligent use of Greek myth. The dramatic and mythic splash page of U.S. Angel versus the Chimera is worth the price of admission"

ENRIQUE MACHUCA: "Pues ahí se ha publicado recientemente Big Bang Adventures #8 conteniendo una aventura de Knights of Justice realizada por @PEDROANGOSTO1, Pablo Alcalde y Simon Loko, un equipo 100% español que captura perfectamente las esencias de esos comics añejos." 

 NACHO CARMONA: "Comics fresquitos, nuevos y clásicos a la vez, americanos y españoles a la vez, hechos por amigos y a la vez profesionales... ¿A que estas esperando?"

RAUL MONTESDEOCA: "Ya me he hecho con una copia de esto. Lo he gozado como un gorrino en una charca. ¡Quiero más! 😃 Mi enhorabuena a Pedro Angosto por un trabajo soberbio. Me ha encantado, a pesar de que es una historia que daba para sacarle más jugo de haber tenido más páginas. Pero cada personaje pinta algo y están muy bien perfilados. No revoluciona el género ni lo pretende, es un cómic para entretenerse y disfrutar con una historia de superhéroes de verdad. Aquí no hay versiones, interpretaciones ni vueltas de tuerca. Esto es género superheroico en estado puro. 🙂 Ojalá las majors del sector se dieran cuenta de que este es el camino y lo ha sido durante 80 años." 

LIBRADO WAYNE: "Pura aventura con un sabor muy old school, tanto el guión y dibujo destilan amor por los temas a tratar (mucha pero mucha mitología), las primeras historias de superhéroes (es como leer un cómic de los primeros años de la DC) y cuenta una historia que se siente como algo clásico a la vez que fresca y diferente." 

ANTONIO GUERRERO: "Si te gustan los superheroes como los de toda la vida y la mitología griega disfrutarás mucho leyendo este cómic."

PATRICK ZIRCHER, DIBUJANTE DE SAVAGE AVENGERS: "Knights of Justice, from @BigBangComics1, fully, unabashedly embraces a classic comics feel. Artist Jorge Santamaria is doing fun, terrific work. From the previews I've looked at, they're reminiscent of All Star Squadron, JSA, early JLA & Avengers, & T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents."
